I was raised in a small town on the Ohio River on fundamental Baptist preaching, hymns and gospel music. Life has broadened my theology (taught me to be non-judgemental and forgiving), but the hymns & gospel music still stir my soul.

Through it all, my faith has (and always will) sustain me, even though my walk is not where it should be or where it has been. In the past, I was involved in worship/youth ministries, but as a busy single mom, I feel there are others better equipped to serve. I mostly feel blessed if I can keep food in the frig & stay on top of laundry & dirty dishes!

Sometimes I feel like I get caught up in life's responsibilities and forget to enjoy life's blessings. I used to be a lot of fun and would like to think I still am -- but it would be nice to have a companion for this next part of the journey.
