I am passionate about cooking and sewing. At first, seemingly very different activities, both entail taking raw materials and turning them into something truly wonderful. There are three things that I am most thankful for: I am thankful that I love to laugh a lot and can see humor in most situations; I am thankful for the wonderful, loving relationship that I have with my adult children; and I am thankful for my salvation and God's amazing grace.

The most important quality that I am looking for in a mate is that he must first be a spirit filled christian man. He must be open, honest and truthful, loving and affectionate. He must be health conscious and enjoy exercising. He must love and cherish me, as I will him, love cooking, traveling, gardening and do-it-yourself home projects. He also must be energetic.

Fun is...packing a picnic basket and heading out on a day trip to the mountains, the beach, or wherever. Fun is having people over for an awesome meal or a cookout that we've both prepared. Fun is reading and critiquing books together. Fun is attending church to praise and worship the Lord together. Fun is doing home projects together. And, sometimes, fun is simply staying in for the evening enjoying a fabulous meal and a movie.

I look for a man who is spiritual...who loves the Lord first. He must love and cherish me as I will him. Sensitive. But, not a pushover. I am good and kind and gentle. I want a man who can appreciate it and not take it for granted.He should love to cook; I do, and I would love to prepare meals with him. Love to travel...by road, air and sea. I like a man who knows how to fix things around the house. A man who loves to garden and grow things. I want a man who is adventurous and willing to try new things, experiences and places. I want a man who is in great health and who takes care of himself through diet, exercise, and regular physical exams.
