I love to garden, cook, walking, jogging, biking, hiking, swimming, most sports
My faith is the most important element of living: life without Christ/Yahweh is not worth living.
The great commission
Go ye into all the earth and preach the gospel.
Today inside and outside the church is the same, everyone wants a Hollywood life, the perfect marriage the perfect family and the perfect happy life. So people work really hard at their jobs and keeping their family busy with every kind of activity out there. But their time and attention are so diverted from that which is the most fundamental element of life; which is our relationships, relationships with one another.
We were created body soul and spirit and to connect on all levels is crucial to humanity. All around us we daily witness the depravity of man. We have the so-called order of humanity of government with our government-run schools, hospitals, churches, communities, etc.
We hear daily on the news of depravity of man because we have been told that is what we want to hear. But truth be told is that we have been made actually programmed in our DNA for love: giving and receiving.
We all heard or watched Anne of Green Gables and her longing for bosom buddies. We can all relate to this longing not only longing but needing to connect with each other on this deeper level, it is a level of caring for one another. It is a connection between the physical through touch (hugs), soul (intellectual), spirit: personality(emotionally).
In the second chapter of Acts; the brothers and sisters of Christ must have had this level of relationship. They met together daily fellowshipping with one another worshipping and praising God together, eating together and meeting each other's needs. No wonder they had people flocking into the number daily they saw true love for humanity and wanted to be apart of this. Christians and church pay attention to this they witnessed God's love through his people when they came into the flock.
The type of relationship with each will exemplify the relationship we have with our Savior and that love will be an overflow to others.
We were never ment to live alone we are designed to live in a family community. I believe in my studies of Holistic Nutrition and studying the correlation of mental illness, the biochemical imbalances responsible for depression and mental health are vital to knowing the deficits of the whole person.
Suicides and mental health and even physical health would improve where the individual was in loving relationships where they were connecting on a deeper level. We busy ourselves with things we think will make us happy, only a relationship with God and healthy relationships with people can give us this longing for connection our soul cries out for. We need to take time with each other, caring for each other and the people God sends your way.
Love - God and love - people with your whole person are how we fulfil the great commission.
