My life priorities are Jesus, my Lord and Savior, my kids, my country, dancing, reading, skiing, education and making a difference. I regularly attend Church, Sunday School, and Bible study and serve when I can. I’m a military retiree (traveled the world/want to see more) with a new career. I have 3 kids that live at home (ages 12, 17, 20) and love being involved with them.I know God is compelling me to adopt again, this time from Africa. I would love to share the adventure with someone. I’m very practical and goal oriented so I’m a planner and a saver: always trying to be a good steward of God's resources.I honestly try NOT to be in control and think on Phil 4: 6-7, Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. My kids will tell you I’m on the go and don’t know how to relax. I rarely watch TV—how can you with an activity every night then homework to help with then a good book to settle down with? But I am a Trekkie! I stay in shape and exercise me and the dog every day. I have so much I want to do to make a difference and want to share that attitude with someone relationship. I may sound like a chatty but I'm not, I enjoy writing. I tend to be stand-offish and shy till I get to know you. Always in a group will you find me just listening with only a pertinent comment here and there.I appreciate the silly things in life! My kids will just tell you I'm just weird. But I'm following the Lord's directions: Be joyful always, pray continuously, give thanks in all circumstances for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus 1 Thes 5:16-18He's not finished with me yet! How about you?"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

A Christian guy who wants to be involved at church, serve the Lord, serve the community and be involved with his family. A Christian guy who will pray with me and read the Bible with me. A helpmate, an exercise partner, an activities partner. Someone who eats rights and believes in a well-rounded education and contiunous self improvement. Lastly, a partner who manages money well, is God’s good steward and stays away from debt, overspending.
